Triple Certificate: Shelter Support Worker, Community Support Worker & Case Management

The complete community services credential. Crisis response. Client advocacy. Case coordination. Three certificates. One comprehensive pathway into social services.

The Triple Certificate pathway brings together three of YorkC's core Community & Social Services programs — giving you the broadest possible foundation for frontline and coordination roles across the sector.

You'll start with the Shelter Support Worker Certificate, building crisis intervention, de-escalation, incident reporting, and housing navigation skills for high-acuity environments. Next, the Community Support Worker Certificate broadens your practice into client advocacy, documentation, referral coordination, and professional communication across diverse community settings. Finally, the Case Management Certificate equips you with structured assessment, service planning, resource coordination, and cross-agency collaboration skills — the tools needed to guide clients through complex systems over time.

Individually, each of these programs is a strong credential. Together, they  they give you a well-rounded knowledge base across every stage of a client's journey — from first contact in a crisis shelter to long-term community-based case support.
This pathway is ideal for learners who want to strengthen their credentials, build toward advancement, or demonstrate a serious, committed investment in the sector

All three programs are 100% online and self-paced. Complete in as few as 13 weeks, or take up to 12 months per certificate.
