IBU is Ontario’s First Next-Generation Business University

IBU is a student-focused university that offers a growing set of undergraduate and graduate academic and professional degree programs that are career-relevant, can be completed in an accelerated time frame. You will graduate with knowledge, technical and interpersonal skills, and problem-solving experience. You will be prepared for roles in business and the private sector, community and not-for-profit organizations, and public service.

York College Eligible Graduates

-Diploma in Business Administration Management
-Diploma in Business Administration Management with Co-op

Admission Requirements

Successful graduate of York College Diploma in Business Administration Management with Co-op program or Diploma in Business Administration Management with a minimum overall average of 70% OR with a grade of "B-" or better, calculated on all courses within the Program with a letter of reference from the head of the Program from which they have graduated.

Transfer Credits to BComm or MBA

  • International Business University and York College have partnered to offer higher education and employment possibilities to students from all around the world. York College and International Business University (IBU) have signed an Articulation Agreement (AA) that takes advantage of Ontario’s recognition of prior learning and credit transfer system to optimise pathways for students’ learning.

    The AA sets out transfer credit pathways from York’s one or two-year Business Administration Management Diploma to IBU’s Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree in International Management and Technology. York College graduates who meet IBU admission requirements are eligible for block transfer credit recognition towards IBU’s degree program.

    IBU's Bachelor of Commerce consists of 120 credits. York College of Applied Studies graduates who meet IBU admission requirements are eligible for block transfer credit recognition of 11 courses (36 credit hours) towards IBU’s degree program.
