Human Resources-HR

This course provides a systematic approach to human resources management in a multinational context. Students will analyze macro trends and issues that influence the development and implementation of key components of international human resource management (IHRM). Areas covered include globalization and intercultural management strategies, strategic HRM issues in international contexts; recruitment, selection, training, development, compensation in multinational organizations, expatriation and repatriation, and industrial relations. Students will also engage with current IHRM trends and reflect on future challenges that might impact on multinational organizations.
